VinFast Auto Canada Inc. an OEM distribution company with a Direct-to-Consumer business model, has an ambitious growth strategy planning rapid retail and aftersales facility expansion in Canada over the next 12 months. As the Vietnamese Community & Sales Relations Manager, you will be responsible for developing brand awareness, business prospects, and relationships with the Vietnamese Community in Canada.  This includes introducing and selling VinFast products and services, nurturing reservations and supporting brand loyalty. 


  • Support the Vietnamese Community & Sales Director in developing and expanding relationships in the Vietnamese Community in British Columbia/Ontario/Quebec. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for community partners including press, journalists, and key opinion leaders.
  • Develop and execute community-based information sessions and events to stimulate demand for VinFast product line.
  • Collaborate with other areas of the business including Global Sales and Marketing and Regional Leadership, to plan and budget business expansion strategy.
  • Train and mentor new team members to enable them to be successful in their roles.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain a suite of accurate reports relating to community appointments, calls, test drives, contacts, and meeting notes.
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings regularly and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge with respect to all vehicles, processes, and business finance solutions.
  • Explore opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Establish and reinforce a positive and inclusive culture focused on hard work, innovative thinking and having fun.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


  • Ideally 7 years of progressive work experience in automotive OEM operations
  • Fluent in both Vietnamese and English
  • Experience managing teams and external partners as part of larger functional role
  • Proven track record of success in achieving operational targets
  • Automotive electric vehicle (EV) experience is a plus
  • Experience in a start-up environment or with new product launches is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship building and management skills
  • High levels of attention to detail and organization
  • Proficiency in business productivity tools and software (MS office suite, CRM applications)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with executive leadership, internal stakeholders, peers, and external partners
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Can-do mindset with high energy and strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
  • Creative problem solver; not afraid to think outside the box
  • Flexibility for up to 20% travel within Canada and Overseas
