The Toronto office is looking for a Marketing Assistant to support the marketing team with conceptualizing and executing high-quality, aesthetic designs that fit within the creative and technical solutions required for the next evolution of our company’s brand identity.

What will your day look like?

You’ll be part of a tight-knit Marketing team that is shaping the next-gen voice and brand of RVA in a new world. You’ll work with people who truly understand the value of marketing and the role it plays in transforming businesses and people. We’re constantly sharing new ideas and have an all-in mentality to help each other reach our goals and get the job done. The Marketing Assistant will provide administrative and graphics support in the creation of marketing materials and advertising campaigns. This is an ideal position for someone who is looking to begin a career in marketing.
 

Duties:

  • Providing extensive administrative support for marketing initiatives, including scheduling, coordinating, note-taking, obtaining approvals, content gathering, and general marketing email correspondence.
  • Assist in content gathering, executing, and editing for the marketing team’s participation in industry events including career fairs, conferences, and project award submissions.
  • Conduct market research on upcoming industry events, promotional materials, campaigns, and other various initiatives.
  • Assist in creating promotional pieces and marketing materials as needed.
  • Generate and coordinate templates using Microsoft Office platform and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Generate and coordinate specific social media, intranet, corporate, and proposal/projects graphics requiring third party applications and Microsoft Office platform.
  • Generate and coordinate specific social media, press, intranet, corporate, and proposal/projects graphics requiring Adobe Creative Suite platform.
  • Gather data and generate monthly analytics presentations requiring Google Analytics platform.
  • Communicating extensively with other internal departments.
  • Generating and maintaining internal data and libraries.
  • Uploading website and social media content where needed.
  • Works effectively as a team and supports other members in achieving business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role with a professional services firm.
  • University degree or diploma in Marketing or Administration.
  • A team player able to work either independently or under creative direction. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Offer creative and innovative solutions and demonstrate outstanding attention to detail and quality.
  • Thrives through collaboration with marketing staff.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of WordPress.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro is an asset.
  • Copy editing skills is an asset
