PCAS22-090 - People and Culture Associate (12 Month Contract)

​Reporting to the Manager, People and Culture, the P&C Associate is responsible for the Human Resources administration function.  This position provides administrative support to the People and Culture team, and back up to the Training Associate, when required. By following standard department procedures and processes, the key responsibilities include the processing of all new hires, updating the Agency's HRIS, processing of WSIB and STD claims, and committee responsibilities.

This position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.  The incumbent will be required to work independently and manage multiple priorities within demanding time frames.  Attention to detail is a must, as is adherence to confidentiality.  Strong computer skills are required, with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience working with human resources information systems (e.g. Ceridian Dayforce).  A basic understanding of applicable legislation governing the employment relationship is also essential.

Qualifications:

This position requires post-secondary education in a related field and the incumbent should be working towards or have obtained their CHRP designation. At least 2-3 years experience in a similar role is required. Proficiency in the French language is also considered an asset. 

The salary range is $53,829-$66,585.  We also offer a flexible work environment and a long term contract benefit package.
