LandSure Systems Ltd. (LandSure) is looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner to join our HR team!

LandSure is a subsidiary of the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA), a publicly accountable, statutory corporation that manages BC's land title and survey systems. Our team of nearly 100 employees supports the LTSA through information system consulting services, project management, customer support, and communications.

What you'll do:

Working as part of a collaborative HR Team, the HR
Business Partner will design and implement HR initiatives that support the strategic goals of Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA) and its subsidiary LandSure Systems.  Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, you will be responsible for partnering with leaders and employees on important initiatives within talent management such as employee engagement, workforce planning, recognition, learning and development and more.
 
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Partner with people leaders and employees to provide coaching, guidance, and advice on day to day people practices from performance management to learning and development.
  • Analyze HR metrics and design and implement improvements to programs.
  • Revamp the onboarding experience to ensure new hires feel warmly welcomed and have a clear learning journey in their role.
  • Collaborate on the design of a leadership development program to help build the capacity of current and future people leaders.
  • Support the rollout and integration of the new performance management program.
  • Analyze employee engagement survey data and work with divisional leaders to develop action plans and initiatives.
  • Develop and foster relationships with key stakeholders and support implementation of programs that aim to enhance team culture.
  • Participate in the recruitment process and coach managers through candidate selection.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, and build internal talent.
  • Collaborate with the HR team on projects to help us reach our recruitment, retention, and learning and development goals and provide backup for the HR Manager
  • Act as a culture ambassador for the LTSA and LandSure Systems.

Education and Experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management and 5+ years of HR experience.
  • CPHR designation or CPHR in progress.
  • Experience working in a small/medium sized tech organization preferred.
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion education and experience an asset.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to multiple stakeholders at every level in the organization.
  • Strong technical aptitude including advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HCM software such as Dayforce.
  • Strong business acumen and judgment - able to quickly develop an understanding of the organization’s business and culture and effectively balance employee needs with competing business demands.
  • Possesses excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to assess situations objectively, analyze data, and make sound decisions independently.
  • A skilled influencer who is adaptable, flexible, and able to cope with ambiguity in an emerging and constantly changing environment.
  • Highly organized and adept at prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment as well as delivering on longer-term projects.
  • Has a bias for action and a positive can-do attitude to jump in and do whatever is needed to get the job done.
  • Highly self-aware and recognizes the importance of giving and receiving candid feedback.
