Work Status: 2 openings (Full-Time & 8-month Temporary Contract)
Location: Toronto, ON. Option for combination of onsite and remote/work from home.


About the Role:

This role will be part of so.da, Corus’ social digital agency, which supports many of Canada’s leading brands with their social strategy and content.


Reporting to the Director - Client Accounts, you will oversee the development of best-in-class, data-driven social media strategies and campaigns (across paid, owned and earned) for our clients. You’ll be the main client liaison on key accounts, working closely with our social content studio to create strong branded content to deploy on Corus channels, as well as content for our clients’ owned and operated social accounts.


The right candidate is deeply versed in social. They excel in both strategy and creative thinking, have exceptional project management skills, enjoys working with cross-functional teams, and have a passion for data.


You'll be working on things like:

  • Key point of contact for clients, ensuring we deliver exceptional service and results
  • Manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring accountabilities and expectations are clearly defined and that deliverables are met
  • Oversee the development of best-in-class social media strategies and executions (across paid, owned and earned) for our clients, ensuring all KPI's are met
  • Manage agile, campaign and sponsor budgets
  • Leverage data to inform content creation and optimization


If You Have the Following….We Want to Hear From You!

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large social audiences and driving social performance.
  • Client/service-oriented – experience working in an agency setting considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional thought leadership – can rally several stakeholders around an idea and see it through from inception to execution
  • Effective time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects/ teams and consistently deliver against timelines
  • In-depth knowledge of established and emerging social platforms (and how they can be utilized to the benefit of brand and business)
  • Experience in social media planning / buying across paid, earned, and owned channels
  • Experience in content creation, optimization and adaptation in nimble industry or space
  • Agency experience is strongly preferred
