About OmniaBio:

OmniaBio Inc. is a subsidiary of Toronto-based CCRM (ccrm.ca), a leader in developing and commercializing regenerative medicine-based technologies and cell and gene therapies. Role Summary:

Responsible for the creation of proposals for Cell and Gene Therapy CDMO services offered by OmniaBio. The Proposal Specialist will be responsible for creating customized sales proposals for prospects and clients. The Proposal Specialist works alongside Business Development and technical professionals to respond to requests for proposal (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and other proposal services support requests, including the development of associated Statements of Work (SOWs).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the collection of project-specific information and developing proposal content and other requirements to meet established guidelines and target dates.
  • Prepare and manage a collaborative process for the development and execution of responses to Requests for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), Statements of Work (SOWs) and customer presentations.
    • Prepare detailed, competitive, tailored project proposals, including supporting materials such as cost workbooks and high-level Gantt charts that meet customer needs/expectations and maximize OmniaBio’s chance of securing new projects.
    • Create and use templates to ensure consistency and best practices.
    • Prepare proposal pricing suggestions, strategy, and present to relevant decision makers.
    • Quality control of final proposals and SOWs to ensure adherence to standards to ensure accuracy and consistent quality of work.
    • Develop presentations and supporting materials for proposals.
    • Attend customer on-site visits and conference calls related to proposal/deals and prepare detailed meeting minutes.
  • Maintain all proposal content: proposal dashboard, proposal templates, deal documentation
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates to CRM system in support of forecasting activities
  • Assist or lead proposal process improvement projects/initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • BSc required; advanced scientific degree (MSc or PhD) desirable
  • 2+ years of proposal experiences within the pharma/biopharmaceutical/CGT industry
  • Prior contract manufacturing experience in biologics or CGT space is highly desirable

  • Communication, tact, and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with all levels of staff and leadership, within and outside the department; ability to work with a diverse team, including managers and peers.
  • Intellectually curious self-starter able to adapt in a fast-moving environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Service Agreements, and Microsoft Office Suite of products including SharePoint, and with advanced proficiency in Excel highly desirable.
