Situated in Downtown Banff, our busy Head Office coordinates and supports the activities of our hotels, restaurants, spas, cinema, and retail outlets.

Do you love weddings?  Does it bring you joy to execute memorable events down to the fine details that are required to make the perfect day?  We are growing our Events team with a dedicated Wedding Coordinator and if you put the SPARK in sparkle then you are the right person for the job.  The Wedding Coordinator works with our team of professional event and group coordinators at our Head Office in Banff where we support the operations of our 13 hotels and 6 restaurants.  This position is not required to be onsite for reach event and the schedule is most often Monday – Friday with an occasional event outside of office hours.  This is a great opportunity for someone who is planning to remain in Banff for 1 year or longer and grow their career in event management and hospitality.  If you have a can-do attitude and believe in fostering a supportive and fun work environment then you are the right person for us!

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Conduct site inspections and meeting onsite with clients.
  • Prepare wedding contracts, book event space, offer advice on décor rentals, menu selection etc
  • Collaborate with venue location to confirm all details.
  • Communicate with clients and partners via telephone, email and Zoom
  • Engage o with Bride & Groom throughout the booking process
  • Send out wedding flyer, and the wedding guide
  • Ensure group rooming lists are entered in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist with the administration of key group accounts and events
  • Assist the sales team to sell rooms, event space and food & beverage services.
  • Ensure booking information is efficiently and effectively communicated to all departments
  • Ensure all group files are complete and ready to be passed to the hotels for event execution
  • Update and reply on information – including WeddingWire.ca
  • Prepare group invoice
